Hockey Preview 2012-13:

The truncated hockey season opened on January 19, 2013 with a 48 game season featuring intra-conference games only. At the start of play there were four Jews in the N.H.L.:

MIKE BROWN (RW) with the Toronto Maple Leafs

MICHAEL CAMMALLERI (C) with the Calgary Flames

JEFF HALPERN (F) with the New York Rangers

ERIC NYSTROM (LW) with the Dallas Stars

Look for some of the following up and coming players to be seen in the N.H.L. in the near future:

ETHAN WEREK (C) in the New York Rangers system

DAVID WARSOFSKY(D) in the Boston Bruins system

JASON ZUCKER (LW) in the Minnesota Wild system
